Emergency Dental Procedures During COVID-19

EMERGENCY DENTAL PROCEDURES DURING COVID-19 should not be ignored or even postponed.

"Just a reminder that during this period, COVID-19, we are still able to see patients that have emergency dental needs. Some problems may even worsen if left untreated. Whether it's a broken tooth, severe pain or other dental situation that arises, we can provide you emergency dental care in a safe environment." — Dr. Lovik Mirzaeian

CDC and ADA recommendations

Our office is following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and American Dental Association (ADA) recommendations that dental offices remain closed except for urgent and emergency dental procedures during COVID-19.

We do this in a collective effort to keep our patients, staff, and community safe and to slow the spread of the virus.

Yet, while we have postponed elective and non-urgent dental appointments, we are here to take care of you if you are having a dental emergency.

What is a Dental Emergency?

A dental emergency is one that requires immediate treatment. It could be a broken tooth, severe pain, swelling, infection, or other trauma. Often, if left untreated, these conditions can become much worse.

If you are at all unsure if what you are experiencing is considered a dental emergency, CALL US! (559) 299-2168

Non-Emergency Dental Procedures Still Postponed

We consider preventive and routine dental care to be essential to your continued health and well-being. However, our office is following California mandates to postpone these non-emergency procedures until further notice. To be clear, this includes routine dental cleaning and examinations, extraction of asymptomatic teeth, restorative procedures, teeth whitening and other cosmetic dentistry.

We know these procedures are important to you, and we will schedule your appointments for them just as soon as we are cleared to do so.

Keeping You Safe

You can count on us to keep you safe while dealing with your dental emergency during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are closely following all the latest news and guidelines for appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for our staff and effective disinfecting of our facility.

You have nothing to fear should you need to come to our office for an emergency dental procedure during COVID-19! We want to safely treat you here rather than have you make an unnecessary trip to a hospital emergency room.

If you are having a dental emergency, CALL US IMMEDIATELY! (559) 299-2168
